The base fabric, named Terciopelo Retro - Paris, is a velvet fabric composed of 93% POLYESTER and 7% ELASTANE, with a weight of 245 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The plain printed color is an intense red with barn-like hues, reflected in a CMYK of 30 100 100 42. This color evokes passion and energy and pairs especially well with neutral colors such as white, black, and gray.
The fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing, which ensures high color quality and durability. It features characteristics such as a soft touch texture, a visual sheen, and elasticity, making it ideal for clothing and decoration.
The applications and uses of this fabric are varied, ranging from lingerie and dresses to upholstery for chairs and sofas, as well as sports shirts, skirts, pants, cushions, and curtains for the home. Its versatility makes it a perfect fabric for a wide range of creative projects.
Regarding care, hand washing is recommended, do not bleach, do not iron, do not tumble dry, and dry cleaning is allowed except with trichloroethylene. These instructions will help maintain the quality and appearance of the fabric over time.
Finally, the printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation, which involves transferring liquid inks through a printer at high temperatures so that they turn into gas and penetrate the polyester fibers. This ensures a durable and wash-resistant print, maintaining the vibrancy of the colors.
