The base fabric Retro Velvet - Paris is a velvet fabric with a composition of 93% polyester and 7% elastane. The solid printed color is Copenhagen Blue with a CMYK of 99 85 33 23, a deep and vibrant blue that pairs well with white, silver, and gray. This fabric is printed with this color on one side using digital textile printing.
In terms of general characteristics, the base fabric is soft to the touch, visually bright, and elastic, making it ideal for high-quality garments. The Copenhagen blue color, for its part, adds elegance and sophistication to the design.
The applications and uses of this fabric are very broad, from lingerie and dresses to upholstery for sofas and chairs, as well as sportswear and accessories such as bikinis or kimonos. Its versatility makes it an ideal option for different creative projects.
Regarding care, it is important not to bleach, hand wash, avoid ironing, and not tumble dry. It can be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene, to maintain the quality of the fabric.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which guarantees high-quality and durable printing in the solid printed color. This technique allows the color to be permanently fixed to the fabric, maintaining its brightness and vibrancy over time.
