The base fabric Light Voile - Kyoto is a soft and translucent polyester fabric, in a dark slate blue color, with a CMYK of 100 82 41 37. This color harmoniously combines with neutral tones such as white, gray, and black, as well as with more vibrant shades like yellow or green.
The fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing, which ensures high quality and durability of the color. It is important to note that it is not a dyed fabric, but rather printed on one side, which gives it a unique and exclusive look.
Regarding its characteristics, the base fabric is soft to the touch, smooth, and thin, perfect for clothing items such as blouses, dresses, shirts, curtains, sarongs, table runners, and tablecloths. Additionally, being translucent, it is ideal for creating light and fluid garments.
In terms of applications and uses, this fabric is perfect for the spring/summer season, as it is light and fresh. It can be used in sportswear, lingerie, home wear, and decoration, adapting to different styles and designs.
As for care, it is important to follow the manufacturers instructions: do not bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, iron at a cool temperature on the reverse side, and do not tumble dry. With these care instructions, the fabric will maintain its quality and color intact for longer.
The printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation (polyester), a process that guarantees vivid and durable colors, as well as high definition in details. This printing method is ideal for synthetic fabrics like polyester, as the color is permanently fixed in the fabric fibers, preventing it from fading over time.
