The Lycra Polyester fabric - Nairobi is a high-quality elastic fabric composed of 82% polyester and 18% elastane, with a weight of 270 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The printed design on the fabric features floral nature motifs, with a predominance of roses in dark tones such as night black, midnight, and milk chocolate brown, accented by touches of red. This design also includes elements of love.
The design printed on the fabric would combine perfectly with solid colors such as white, light pink, or even mint green to highlight the dark and red tones of the print. The fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing, which means the design is only visible on the outside of the garment.
General characteristics of the fabric include its soft and elastic feel, as well as its chlorine resistance and very high UV protection. The printed design provides an elegant and romantic floral aesthetic, perfect for lingerie, sportswear, or swimwear.
Regarding the applications and uses of the fabric, in addition to those mentioned previously, this fabric would also be ideal for making leggings, tights, leotards, and bikinis. Its high elasticity makes it perfect for form-fitting garments, and its chlorine resistance makes it durable even in aquatic environments.
It is important to note the necessary care for this fabric, such as machine washing at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, no bleaching, no tumble drying, and ironing at a cool temperature. In addition, dry cleaning is recommended except with trichloroethylene.
The printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation (polyester), a process in which inks turn into gas and penetrate the fibers of the fabric, which provides high print quality and color durability.
