The Lycra Polyester fabric - Cairo, weighing 220 gr/m2, is characterized by its elastic and soft composition, perfect for modern garments. Its design, full of color with hearts that evoke emotions of love, is reminiscent of the vibrant styles of the 60s, creating a captivating visual appeal. This multicolored design can be complemented with solid colors such as black, pink, sky blue, or white, providing an elegant and modern contrast. It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing, ensuring exceptional quality and color fidelity.
The characteristics of this fabric include an elastic and soft texture, providing comfort in use, while its chlorine-resistant finish and UV protection factor (UPF 50+) make it ideal for outdoor activities or water sports. These attributes allow garments made with this fabric to maintain their shape and colors despite being exposed to demanding conditions.
Regarding its applications, Lycra Polyester - Cairo is highly versatile. It is used in a variety of garments, from lingerie such as bras and bodysuits, to fashion clothing for men and women such as tops and knitwear. Its elasticity makes it an ideal option for bikinis and swimsuits, as it adapts comfortably to the body and allows freedom of movement. Additionally, it can be used for creating accessories such as scrunchies, promoting a fun and modern style.
To maintain the quality of this fabric, certain care instructions must be followed. It is essential not to bleach and to wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. Likewise, dry cleaning is acceptable, except with trichloroethylene, and it should be ironed at a cool temperature. Tumble drying is not recommended, as it could damage the elasticity of the fabric.
Finally, the printing technology used on the fabric is sublimation, a process that allows inks to be transferred to the polyester fiber using heat. This ensures that the colors are vibrant and durable, resistant to wear and washing. This technique turns the ink into gas, allowing it to adhere to the fibers instead of remaining on the surface, ensuring that the design resists the test of time without fading or cracking, creating a high-quality and visually attractive final product for the consumer.
