The Polyester Lycra fabric - Nairobi, weighing 270 gr/m2, is an exceptional choice for garments that demand comfort and style. Its printed design evokes the vibrant 60s with a vintage touch, featuring a varied palette of multicolor flowers that lends a cheerful and dynamic air. This fabric lives at the intersection of functionality and aesthetics, making it an ideal resource for multiple uses. It can be paired with solid colors such as white, black, navy blue, or emerald green, which highlight the luminosity of the design without clashing.
This fabric, printed with a single-sided design using digital textile printing techniques, offers an exceptionally rich and vibrant surface that captures attention, while its reverse remains a solid color, providing a clean and professional finish. Polyester Lycra boasts characteristics that make it stand out: its texture is elastic, providing remarkable freedom of movement, while its finish is notably chlorine-resistant, a bonus for use in aquatic environments. Furthermore, its very high UV protection (UPF 50+) makes it an excellent resource for outdoor activities, offering peace of mind against sun exposure.
Among the applications and uses of this fabric, we find its versatility in the fields of fashion and sports. Polyester Lycra is ideal for making lingerie, bodysuits, leotards, tights, leggings, as well as swimsuits and bikinis. Its elasticity and comfort make it perfect for form-fitting garments that require stretch and support, allowing for optimal comfort during sports or daily activities. Moreover, its timeless character makes it an attractive option across all seasons, ensuring that garments made with it are always at the forefront of fashion.
Regarding the care instructions, it is essential to treat the fabric gently to preserve its properties. It is recommended not to bleach the fabric, which should be washed at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It also allows for dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene, and should be ironed at cool temperatures. To maintain its quality, it is important to avoid using a tumble dryer, allowing it to air dry.
The printing technology used in the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation, a process that uses heat and special ink to transfer the design to the fabric. This method allows for vibrant and durable colors that do not easily fade over time, and is particularly suitable for polyester fabrics, ensuring that images maintain their fidelity and brightness after multiple washes. Sublimation, being a process that permeates the fibers, ensures that the print does not affect the texture or elasticity of the fabric, thus maintaining all its functional characteristics.
