The Lycra Polyester fabric - Cairo 220 gr/m2 stands out for its soft and elastic texture, vibrant heart-printed design in colorful tones that evoke love. This creation is perfect for those seeking a combination of style and comfort. The design, which blends Pearl Pink (64.78%), Blush (19.84%), and Day Blue (7.36%), integrates harmoniously, conveying a sense of joy and affection. To enhance the print, it can be combined with solid colors such as white, black, or grey, which will provide visual balance, allowing the design to be the protagonist. It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side using digital textile printing, which ensures vibrant and durable quality in the design.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, its composition of 90% polyester and 10% elastane gives it exceptional wear resistance and elasticity that allows freedom of movement. The weight of 220 gr/m2 provides a feeling of robustness without sacrificing lightness, making it ideal for a variety of applications. The fabric also features a chlorine-resistant finish, which is essential for use in aquatic environments, and a high UV protection factor (UPF 50+), which protects the skin from harmful sun rays. These attributes make the fabric versatile for use in lingerie, sportswear, and fashion, as well as in swimwear where both aesthetics and functionality are required.
The applications and uses of this fabric are multiple. Its elasticity and softness make it the ideal choice for intimate apparel, such as bodysuits and bras (bralettes), which require comfort and body fit. Additionally, it is used in the creation of tops for both men and women, as well as in sportswear such as bikinis and swimsuits. This versatility extends to other accessories such as scrunchies, making it a popular choice for creating contemporary fashion that encompasses both comfort and style.
Regarding the care of this fabric, it is essential to follow the recommendations to ensure its longevity. Bleaching and dry cleaning with trichloroethylene should be avoided. The maximum allowed washing temperature is 40ºC, and ironing at a cold temperature is recommended. It cannot be tumble dried, which helps maintain the fabrics elasticity and preserve the print, ensuring that garments retain their shape and color.
Finally, this fabric is printed using sublimation technology, a process in which dyes turn into gas when applied at high temperatures, penetrating the polyester fibers. This method ensures that the design is an integral part of the fabric, achieving vibrant colors and fine details that do not wear out over time, resulting in durable and high-quality products. Sublimation is especially suitable for polyester, as it allows for a wide range of shades and excellent fade resistance.
