The Retro Velvet - Paris fabric is characterized by its soft touch and shiny appearance, featuring a printed design with colorful hearts that evoke love in shades such as Pearl Pink, Blush, and Day Blue, ideal for a vibrant and cozy style. This fabric is printed on one side using digital textile printing techniques, which allows for precision in details and a visually striking finish.
From a technical point of view, the fabric combines the softness and elasticity of velvet thanks to its composition of 93% polyester and 7% elastane. The weight of 245 gr/m² provides a robust feel, while its width of 150 cm favors the creation of various garments and decorations. The design, in turn, is enriched with an extraordinary palette that combines Pearl Pink (64.78%), Blush (19.84%), and Day Blue (7.36%), allowing it to be combined with solid tones such as beige, soft gray, and white, generating elegant contrasts and versatility in fashion and decoration.
Among the general characteristics, the fabric stands out for its soft touch and shiny appearance, making it an attractive option for both clothing and decorative items. The lively and emotional printed design reinforces the concept of modernity and romanticism, ideal for applications in clothing, such as lingerie, dresses, blazers, and also for home decoration, including cushions, curtains, and upholstery. This velvet is especially suitable for autumn/winter fashion, providing warmth and comfort.
Regarding specific care, it is recommended to avoid bleaching and opt for hand washing, maintaining its quality over time. Dry cleaning is viable, except with trichloroethylene, while ironing and tumble drying are strictly discouraged to preserve the texture and shape of the fabric.
Finally, the printing technology used in the creation of this fabric is sublimation on polyester, a process that allows inks to be transferred through heat, integrating the color into the fibers of the fabric without creating a superficial ink effect. This not only provides a durable and wash-resistant finish but also ensures that colors remain vibrant and that design details are reproduced with great precision and clarity.
