The 190 gr/m2 Recycled Lycra Fabric is a polyester and elastane blend fabric with a printed design characterized by multicolored stripes, which gives it a vibrant and dynamic touch. This design not only highlights the versatility of the fabric but also allows it to be used in multiple aesthetic and functional applications. To complement the design, solid colors such as black, white, navy blue, or gray could combine perfectly, offering elegant and balanced contrasts. It should be noted that the fabric is printed with the patterned design on one side using digital textile printing, ensuring image quality and detail in the presentation of the colors.
Recycled Lycra stands out for its softness and elasticity, providing a pleasant and comfortable feel when worn. It is chlorine resistant, making it an ideal choice for sportswear and swimwear, where durability is essential. With a very high UV protection factor (50+), this fabric is perfect for outdoor activities, as it protects the skin from harmful sun rays. The fabric is also special for its sustainable composition, being recycled and GRS certified, which makes it a conscious choice for environmentally concerned consumers.
As for its applications, this fabric is perfect for a variety of garments. It is ideal for making bikinis and swimsuits, ensuring comfort and water resistance, as well as for creating sports tops for men, women, and children. It can also be used in accessories such as hair ties and scrunchies, highlighting its versatility in the world of fashion and accessories. The option of using this fabric for timeless fashion ensures that garments made with it are a hit at any time of the year.
Care for Recycled Lycra is essential to ensure its durability. It is recommended not to bleach the fabric and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. Additionally, it does not allow dry cleaning or tumble drying, so it is preferable to air dry it. When ironing, a cool temperature should be used to avoid damage to the fabric and the print.
The printing technology used for Recycled Lycra is sublimation, a process that allows inks to be transferred through heat and pressure, causing the images to integrate into the polyester fibers. This results in a vibrant, high-quality finish that will not wear out over time or fade with washes, ensuring that the design maintains its clarity and vividness even after repeated use.
