The fine water-repellent fabric - Storm is a water-repellent polyester, ideal for fashion and home textile applications. Its printed, abstract, and distorted design evokes a play of shapes with hearts in multicolored tones, providing a blurred and contemporary feel. This combination of modern aesthetics and technical functionality creates a versatile product that can be complemented with solid colors such as navy blue, light gray, or white, all shades that accentuate the vibrancy of the print without detracting from its prominence. It is important to mention that this fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing, thus ensuring optimal visual quality on the exposed side.
From a technical standpoint, Storm fabric is characterized by its light weight of 70 gr/m², which provides excellent ease of handling and tailoring. Its smooth, thin surface is not only attractive to the touch but also optimizes breathability while maintaining its water-repellent capacity. This translates into a garment that adapts to various climatic conditions, favoring an active lifestyle. As for the printed design, the sublimation technique used allows for the uniform and vibrant integration of colors, ensuring that the shades remain intense and resistant to fading over time.
The applications and uses of this fabric are multifaceted. Ideal for making jackets and raincoats, it is suitable for both mens and womens clothing and offers an excellent alternative for outerwear, including puffer jackets. In addition, its applicability extends to home textiles, where it can be used in shower curtains, cushions, and bed protectors, contributing to both functional and decorative aesthetics in the kitchen or dining room. This type of fabric becomes a perfect option for rainy climates or humid environments, providing comfort and durability.
Regarding fabric care, it is essential to follow certain recommendations to maintain its integrity and appearance over time. Bleach is not recommended, and it should be washed at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. Also, it is not suitable for dry cleaning, so a gentle wash at home is preferable. For ironing, it is recommended to use cool temperatures and avoid tumble dryers, as extreme heat can compromise the water-repellent properties of the fabric.
Finally, the printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation, a process that involves transferring dyes through heat and pressure onto the fabric. This technique allows the ink molecules to integrate into the polyester fibers, resulting in a vibrant and durable finish that does not fade over time. Sublimation is especially effective on synthetic fabrics like polyester, guaranteeing exceptional image definition without compromising the tactile and aesthetic properties of the base fabric.
