The Brushed Sweatshirt Fabric - Boston is a 100% polyester sweatshirt fabric, characterized by its brushed finish. Its printed design features an abstract and distorted pattern, where heart shapes dominate in an explosion of multicolored hues. This chromatic harmony can be complemented with solid tones such as black, gray, or navy blue, which provide balance and allow the vibrant colors of the design to stand out. It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the design on one side only using digital textile printing, meaning that only one side presents the design, while the other retains its original tone.
From a technical standpoint, the fabric has a weight of 220 gr/m² and a width of 160 cm, making it a robust option for garment manufacturing. Its 100% polyester composition gives it remarkable durability, while the brushed finish provides a soft and warm texture, ideal for autumn and winter clothing. This type of fabric is especially versatile, as it is used in a wide range of applications, from casual fashion for men and women, sweatshirts, and even childrens tracksuits, as well as accessories like backpacks and toiletry bags. The characteristics of the fabric allow it to adapt well to both a sporty style and a more urban and modern one, opening up a range of options in textile design.
Regarding the necessary care to maintain the fabric in good condition, it is essential to follow a series of recommendations. Bleaching should be avoided, and washing at a maximum temperature of 40ºC is recommended. Although it allows dry cleaning, it is important to avoid the use of trichloroethylene, and it is not suitable for ironing. However, it can be tumble dried, but at a reduced temperature, which helps preserve both the fabric and the printed design.
Finally, the printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation, specifically designed for polyester. This process involves transforming ink into gas without passing through a liquid state, allowing the ink to adhere firmly to the fabric fibers. This results in high-quality prints that are durable and resistant to wear. Sublimation ensures that colors remain vibrant, even after multiple washes, which is essential for products that seek to combine aesthetics and functionality.
