The Lona Oscurante - White Out fabric is a 100% polyester technical textile featuring an abstract, unfocused design in multicolored tones with heart shapes. This distorted and vibrant design provides a modern and dynamic aesthetic, ideal for creative and decorative projects. Combining it with solid colors such as white, light gray, navy blue, or black can enhance the luminosity and contemporary character of the print. It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side using digital textile printing, allowing the unprinted side to maintain its original appearance and offer versatile use.
The characteristics of the Lona Oscurante include its smooth but rigid texture, providing an opaque visual sensation that is ideal for privacy and sun protection. Its weight of 218 gr/m² provides strength and durability, while its width of 160 cm facilitates its use in a variety of applications. This fabric is not only perfect for interior decoration, including curtains and bedspreads, but also stands out in outdoor settings when used for awnings and furniture covers. Its versatility also extends to fashion, being suitable for making bags, wallets, and backpacks, as well as in the kitchen for making cushions, aprons, and tablecloths that add a modern and original touch.
Regarding care, it is recommended not to bleach the fabric, and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. For ironing, it is best to use a cold temperature and avoid using dryers, as this can affect both the integrity of the polyester and the quality of the printed design. These precautions will ensure that the fabric maintains its appearance and functionality during prolonged use.
The printing technology used for this fabric is sublimation, a process that involves transferring special inks to the polyester fiber using heat and pressure. This technique allows for a vibrant and durable finish, with colors that penetrate the fabric, ensuring that the prints do not fade with washing and maintain their brightness over time. Sublimation is especially effective for multicultural headings and elaborate designs, as is the case with this abstract print, allowing the fabric not only to fulfill an aesthetic function but also to add value to any textile project.
