The Recycled Lycra Fabric - Seal, weighing 230 gr/m2, is a versatile and sustainable fabric, featuring an abstract printed design where brushstrokes of iceberg blue and corn yellow intertwine with organic shapes, evoking a sense of harmony and freshness. This design can be perfectly combined with solid colors such as white, black, or terracotta tones, creating attractive visual contrasts that highlight the artistic character of the print. It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the design on one side only, using digital textile printing, ensuring a vibrant and detailed finish; it is not a double-sided printed fabric.
In terms of general characteristics, Lycra is known for its great elasticity and soft touch, thanks to its composition of 75% polyester and 25% elastane. Its weight of 230 gr/m2 gives it resistance and adaptability, in addition to maintaining a high recovery capacity, making it ideal for garments that require comfort and fit. This fabric is not only durable but also highly resistant to chlorine and offers an extremely high UV protection factor (UPF 50+), making it perfect for use in outdoor activities and water sports. Regarding the design, the print quality is exceptional due to the sublimation technique, which allows colors to be intense and maintained over time, resisting variations from washing and exposure to different environmental agents.
Among the applications and uses of this fabric, several areas stand out. The Recycled Lycra - Seal is ideal for making lingerie and bodysuits, where elasticity and a snug fit are paramount. Its use extends to the sports field, being perfect for bikinis, swimsuits, leotards, and leggings, thanks to its ability to adapt to body movements and its resistance to chlorinated water and sun. Additionally, its timeless character makes it a viable option for fashion applications, ensuring it is always at the forefront of both sports and casual wear trends.
Regarding care, it is essential to follow the recommendations to maintain the quality of the fabric. It should not be bleached, and washing should be done at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. The fabric does not tolerate dry cleaning, and ironing should be done at a cool temperature, thus avoiding damage to the fiber. Furthermore, it is crucial not to use a tumble dryer to dry the garment, as excessive heat can affect the elasticity of the material and the integrity of the print.
Finally, the printing technology used for this fabric is sublimation, a process that allows inks to be transferred through heat and pressure to the polyester fabric. During sublimation, ink particles turn into gas and integrate with the fabric fibers, creating a print that is not only visually vibrant but also adheres durably and flexibly, without compromising the elasticity or softness of the fabric. This ensures that the design maintains its luminosity and detail over time, making it a perfect choice for those seeking quality in printed garments.
