Raso - Ámsterdam fabric is a satin weave composed of 100% polyester, characterized by its shine and softness. Its abstract printed design, full of blotches and distortions, evokes modern art, offering a multicolor palette that can easily be paired with solid tones such as black, white, gray, or navy blue.
Printed on one side using digital textile printing, this fabric has no print on its reverse, allowing for an optimal presentation of the design on the visible part. The uniqueness of the printing technique gives it a vibrant finish and exceptional durability, making it suitable for multiple applications.
The general characteristics of this fabric include not only its composition and weight, which make it light and versatile, but also its shiny and smooth texture to the touch. The fabric has a weight of 120 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, making it an ideal choice for elegant and sophisticated fashion garments. In use, Raso - Ámsterdam adapts wonderfully to the creation of shirts and blouses, as well as more formal garments such as dresses and jumpsuits. Thanks to its fluidity and drape, it is also popular in lingerie fashion, being a preferred choice for pajamas and wedding dresses. Additionally, it is widely used in decorative elements, creating beautiful table runners, curtains, and cushions that bring a luxurious touch to the home.
Regarding the care of this fabric, it is essential to avoid bleaching and wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. Dry cleaning is possible, except with trichloroethylene, and it is recommended to iron at a warm temperature. Tumble drying can be used, but at a reduced temperature to preserve the quality of the fabric and the print.
Regarding the printing technology used, sublimation on polyester allows colors to penetrate the fabric fibers, which not only guarantees vibrant and detailed colors but also ensures that the print is resistant to wear and washing. This technique is ideal for complex and colorful designs like those present in this fabric, ensuring that each garment looks striking and that the print maintains its quality over time.
