The Riga Stretch Knit Crepe fabric is a soft, stretchy crepe base with a bright, abstract design that combines distorted spots and shapes, evoking modern art in multicolored touches. This abstract style brings dynamism and a contemporary character, allowing it to be used in various fashion creations. To complement this vibrant pattern, it can be combined with solid colors such as black, white, gray, or softer tones such as pale pink or sky blue, which balance the intensity of the design.
The fabric is printed with the design on one side using a digital textile printing process, which ensures a clear and vibrant reproduction of colors without affecting the inherent softness of the fabric. This highlights the quality of the finish and allows the design to remain unfaded, even after multiple washes.
The general characteristics of the fabric include its composition, which guarantees an elastic and granulated texture, perfect for adapting to various silhouettes and styles. Its weight of 180 gr/m2 makes it a versatile option for different times of the year. The fabric is suitable for both womens and mens fashion garments, including dresses, jumpsuits, t-shirts, tops, skirts, and pants, as well as cardigans and knitwear. In addition, its use extends to home textiles, being perfect for creating table runners and lamp shades, bringing modern aesthetics to interior spaces.
Regarding fabric care, it is recommended not to use bleach, and to wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It allows dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene, and it is suggested to iron at a cool temperature. To maintain its integrity, it can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature, which facilitates its maintenance and prolongs its useful life.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, a process that allows transferring the design to the polyester fabric by using special inks that turn into gas when heated. This method ensures that the colors are integrated into the fibers of the fabric, resulting in a vibrant and durable finish that does not wear off over time, thus preserving the visual impact of the printed design.
