The Synthetic Knit Fabric with Spandex - Support is a soft, elastic knit fabric featuring a pictorial printed design of standard complexity, evoking nature through dark and multicolored leaves and plants that add visual depth. This design harmoniously combines with solid colors such as black, gray, or earthy tones, which can further emphasize its rich visual palette. It is worth noting that the fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side only, ensuring high quality and definition in the details, unlike fabrics printed on both sides.
The general characteristics of this fabric include a soft and elastic touch, as well as an opaque appearance, making it ideal for various applications. The weight of 237 gr/m2 provides a robust structure, while the composition of 95% polyester and 5% elastane ensures comfort and adaptability, resulting in a fabric that not only feels good against the skin but also provides freedom of movement. These properties make it a popular choice in the world of lingerie, from briefs and bodysuits to bras and bralettes; the use of this fabric in mens and womens fashion, for tops or knitwear, translates into versatility. Additionally, its application in sportswear, covering garments for children, women, and men, allows this fabric to be used in sports tops that require both comfort and an attractive design. Other notable applications include accessories like scrunchies and hair ties, as well as home textiles such as clothespin bags and table runners, expanding its use beyond clothing.
Regarding fabric care, it is essential to follow a series of guidelines to preserve its quality. It is recommended not to use bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, and avoid tumble drying, as excessive heat can damage the fibers. It is also advisable to dry clean, with the exception of trichloroethylene, and iron the fabric at a cool temperature on the reverse side to avoid damaging the print.
Finally, the printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation, a process that allows the transfer of the design through heat and ink in a method that adheres to the polyester fibers. This technique results in vibrant, long-lasting colors, as well as resistance to fading, ensuring that the design maintains its visual impact over time. Sublimation is especially suitable for polyester, making this fabric ideal for a variety of applications, combining aesthetics and functionality in a single product.
