The Cotton-Feel Jersey Knit Fabric - Athens features a printed design that combines elements of nature and fantasy, highlighting mammals such as cats, magical motifs, and the moon in a harmonious color palette that includes off-white, midnight black, and fern green. This fabric, printed on one side using digital textile printing, offers a soft and elastic surface ideal for various applications.
From a technical perspective, the fabric is characterized by its composition of 81% polyester, 15% acrylic, and 4% elastane, which ensures good durability and a cotton-like feel. Technically, the cats in the design evoke curiosity and independence, while the magical and moon elements add a touch of mystery and fantasy. The color palette not only provides a balanced aesthetic look but also suggests effective combinations with solid colors such as white, soft gray, or even a pale gold tone, which can enhance the beauty of the print.
Among its general characteristics, the fabric features a soft and elastic texture, making it suitable for clothing and home decor. Its grammage of 239 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm make it a versatile option for crafting lingerie, pajamas, sweaters, tops, dresses, cardigans, and accessories like scarves and hats. It is also perfect for home textile items such as blankets and table runners, becoming a popular choice for both childrens and adult fashion collections.
Regarding necessary care, it is important to maintain the integrity of the fabric through gentle cleaning. It is recommended to wash at a maximum of 30ºC, avoiding the use of bleach and tumble dryers. To preserve the dyes and texture, it should be ironed at a cool temperature, and dry cleaning is allowed, except with trichloroethylene.
The printing technology used is sublimation, a process that allows inks to be transferred to the fabric using heat, ensuring that colors are vibrant and resistant to wear. This means that the print is integrated into the polyester fibers, offering a durable finish that does not wear out easily and is highly resistant to washing. This method is especially suitable for fabrics with a high proportion of polyester, as it maximizes the vibrancy and quality of the printed design.
