The Paño - Glasgow fabric is characterized by its soft texture and printed design, which includes illustrations of bats, cobwebs, ghosts, and pumpkins, all in an imaginative childrens style. Primarily, colors such as midnight blue, cool gray, and midnight black are used, providing a mysterious and festive air, ideal for Halloween-themed settings or for garments designed to attract the attention of the little ones. These colors could be perfectly combined with plain tones such as white, burnt orange, or emerald green, thus enriching the visual palette of the design.
This fabric, printed with a single-sided digital textile print, is not designed to have a visible or aesthetic design on both sides, which allows for better definition and quality on the front of the fabric. The characteristics of Paño - Glasgow stand out for its weight of 380 gr/m², making it a robust material, ideal for coats, jackets, and all types of outerwear. Its composition, based on 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, ensures not only durability but also a pleasant softness to the touch, adding to its versatility.
Among its applications and uses, there is a wide variety, both in fashion and in the domestic sphere. This fabric is perfect for making coats, bomber jackets, blazers, and jackets, ensuring warmth during the autumn and winter seasons. Furthermore, in the home textile sector, it can be used to create rugs, cushions, curtains, and other decorative items that give a cozy and stylish touch to any space. The possibility of use in products such as coasters, table runners, and kitchen towels also opens up a range of creative opportunities for its application.
Regarding fabric care, it is essential to follow some specific instructions to maintain its quality. It should not be subjected to bleach, machine washing at a maximum temperature of 40ºC is recommended, avoiding dry cleaning. For ironing, it is preferable to use lukewarm temperatures and avoid tumble drying, thus ensuring the preservation of the fabrics characteristics.
Finally, the printing technology used in the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation, a process that allows designs to be transferred to the fabric through heat. In this method, the ink turns into gas and adheres to the polyester fibers, achieving vibrant prints that do not wear out with use and washing, ensuring that every garment or item made maintains its clear and attractive design over time.
