The Retro Velvet - Paris fabric is a luxurious and soft creation that, with a charming design, combines fantasy elements such as bats, ghosts, and cobwebs, all in a childlike context full of vibrant illustrations. The predominant colors are midnight blue, cool gray, and midnight black, creating a captivating visual effect that evokes a magical atmosphere. This fabric perfectly complements plain colors such as white, light gray, or burgundy, adding an elegant and sophisticated contrast. It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the design on one side only using digital textile printing, which allows for crisp and vibrant color definition.
The velvet-type fabric presents a series of attractive features. Its composition of 93% polyester and 7% elastane gives it a weight of 245 gr/m² and a width of 150 cm, resulting in a versatile material suitable for various applications. The soft and elastic texture, along with its shiny finish, not only makes the fabric pleasant to the touch but also makes it an ideal choice for clothing and decorations. In terms of its applications, velvet can be used in lingerie, dresses, blazers, and chair upholstery, all with a touch of elegance. In addition, its versatility extends to sportswear, where it can be applied in bikinis, jackets, and pants, as well as in household items such as cushions and curtains.
To care for this fabric, it is essential to follow certain guidelines. It should not be bleached, and hand washing is recommended to avoid damage. In addition, it can be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene, and it should not be ironed or tumble dried, which highlights its delicacy and the need for careful handling to maintain its appearance and durability.
The printing technology used for this fabric is sublimation, especially adapted for polyester. This process involves the inks turning into gas when heat is applied, allowing them to integrate into the fabric fibers. This not only ensures high definition in the designs but also provides durability and resistance of the colors to wear and washing, maintaining the visual quality of the design over time. Sublimation, therefore, proves to be the ideal technology for creating vibrant and complex patterns on synthetic fabrics such as velvet, offering a high-quality option for both fashion and decoration.
