The Lycra Polyester fabric - Nairobi, weighing 270 gr/m2, is an elastic and resistant material, adorned with a vibrant design featuring playful animals such as squirrels and owls, natural elements like leaves and branches, and gastronomic touches with fruits such as apples and cherries. All of this is presented in a color palette that highlights rose gold, chili red, and bean brown. This design evokes freshness and childlike joy, making it ideal for casual and creative garments. It pairs perfectly with solid colors like white, light gray, or mint green, creating a balanced and attractive look. It is important to note that the fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side only, allowing the details to stand out vividly from a single angle.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, Lycra Polyester offers a soft touch and elasticity that allows for great freedom of movement. Its chlorine resistance and very high UV protection (factor 50+) make it ideal for outdoor activities and water sports. The fade-resistant finish ensures that colors and prints remain vibrant even after multiple washes, making it a durable and high-quality option. The printed design adds a distinctive character to the fabric, transforming garments created with it into a canvas full of life and color that captures attention.
Among the applications and uses of this fabric, its utilization in lingerie, bodysuits, swimwear, and bikinis stands out, as well as in sportswear such as leotards and leggings. Its elasticity and comfort make it especially suitable for garments that require mobility and support, such as yoga or swimming attire. Additionally, its playful and childlike aesthetic allows for its use in childrens clothing, making Lycra Polyester not only functional but also fun and appealing to the little ones.
For care, it is essential to follow the recommendations to ensure the longevity of the fabric. These include not using bleach, washing at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, avoiding tumble drying, and ironing at a cool temperature. Dry cleaning is also permissible, with the exception of trichloroethylene, which provides versatility in the maintenance of garments made with this fabric.
Finally, the printing technology used for this fabric is sublimation, specifically designed for polyester fabrics. This process involves transferring special inks to the fabric surface through heat and pressure, allowing the color to penetrate the fibers, creating a durable and high-quality finish. This not only guarantees a vibrant print but also provides a finish that does not fade over time, ensuring that each garment maintains its fresh and colorful aesthetic throughout its use.
