The Paño - Glasgow fabric is a soft and robust woolen cloth, combining a printed design of animals like bats and cats, fantasy elements such as witches and cauldrons, and evocative moon shapes. Using a color palette that includes ecru, mint, dark purple, and coffee bear brown, this vintage and magical design offers a unique and enchanting aesthetic. Additionally, the fabric can be paired with solid colors like black, gray, or a soft moss green, which highlight its distinctive and attractive style. Its worth noting that this fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing, allowing for great definition and detail in the graphics without being a double-sided printed fabric.
The general characteristics of Paño - Glasgow highlight its softness, making it a comfortable and cozy material. With a composition of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, this fabric shows good wear resistance, and its weight of 380 gr/m² gives it a firm structure ideal for various applications. The fabrics properties make it suitable for fashion, including coats, vests, and blazers that require an elegant drape, as well as home applications like rugs, cushions, and curtains, products that can benefit from the warmth and personalized style provided by the printed design.
Regarding care, it is recommended not to bleach the fabric and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It is not suitable for dry cleaning, which facilitates its home maintenance. To preserve the quality of the print and the integrity of the fabric, it is suggested to iron at a warm temperature and avoid tumble drying, which ensures that the fabric retains its original shape and softness over time.
The printing technology used to create this Paño - Glasgow is sublimation, especially suitable for polyester fabrics. This process involves the transfer of inks that turn into gas and integrate directly into the fabric fibers, allowing for vibrant and long-lasting colors. Thanks to this method, the design not only respects the flexibility of the fabric but also helps the printed images maintain their clarity and wash resistance, ensuring that every garment or home item made with this fabric remains beautiful and functional for a long time.
