The 220 gr/m² Polyester Lycra fabric - Cairo is an elastic and soft material featuring an aesthetically pleasing design based on a natural landscape, characterized by elements of crystal-clear water, moss, and lush forests. The multicolored hues of the fabric evoke the richness of nature, providing a fresh and vibrant feel to any garment. This fabric, digitally printed on one side, captures the essence of the jungle, offering a visual appeal that pairs wonderfully with solid colors such as emerald green, navy blue, or even neutral tones like light gray or white, which further enhance the design.
The general characteristics of Polyester Lycra include its 220 gr/m² weight, which provides excellent strength and durability, combining an elastic texture with a soft touch. This fabric is chlorine-resistant, making it ideal for swimwear and sportswear applications, and features a UV protection finish, offering high protection against solar rays (factor 50+). These characteristics allow the fabric to be used in a variety of garments, from lingerie and bralettes to swimwear and sports tops, offering comfort and style, in addition to being timeless. It perfectly adapts to the needs of contemporary fashion for men, women, and children, including its uses in accessories like scrunchies, which benefit from its elasticity and softness.
It is essential to consider certain care instructions when handling this type of fabric to ensure its longevity. It is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. Although dry cleaning is permitted, the use of trichloroethylene should be avoided, and it needs to be ironed at a cool temperature. Furthermore, it is not suitable for tumble dryers, highlighting the importance of air drying to prevent damage that direct heat could cause.
The printing technology used for this fabric is sublimation, particularly effective on polyester. This method allows the ink to infuse into the fabric fibers, ensuring that colors remain vibrant and long-lasting, even after multiple washes. Digital textile printing guarantees a detailed and precise reproduction of the design, allowing for the creation of complex and multicolored patterns that pay homage to natural beauty, perfect for those seeking a distinctive and fresh style.
