The Riga Elastic Knit Crepe fabric is a versatile material with a composition that combines 94% polyester and 6% elastane, forming an ideal base for making various garments. The printed design features square patterns, specifically squares, in a vibrant color palette where red stands out among other multicolored tones, creating a dynamic and contemporary visual composition. To complement this design, solid colors such as black, white, gray, or navy blue can be considered, which add elegance while balancing the vibrancy of the print. It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing, thus ensuring a crisp, high-quality finish.
The general characteristics of the fabric include a soft and granular texture, in addition to having high elasticity that provides comfort and freedom of movement. This makes it perfect not only for fashion, but also for home and decoration applications. The specifications of this fabric make it ideal for making garments such as dresses, jumpsuits, t-shirts, tops, skirts, pants, and cardigans. It can also be used in knitwear and in home textile elements, such as table runners and lamp shades, making it a timeless and versatile option for various creations.
Regarding the care of the Riga Elastic Knit Crepe fabric, it is recommended to follow certain guidelines to maintain its quality. It should not be bleached, and the maximum washing temperature is 40ºC. The fabric allows dry cleaning, with the exception of products containing trichloroethylene, and should be ironed at a cool temperature. In addition, it can be tumble dried, but only at a reduced temperature, which protects its elasticity and shape in the long term.
The printing technology used for this fabric is sublimation, a process that allows polyester-based inks to be transferred using heat and pressure. During this process, ink particles turn into gas and integrate into the fabrics surface, ensuring that the print is vibrant, durable, and resistant to wear. This technique is ideal for creating complex and colorful designs that highlight the quality and aesthetics of the material, ensuring that each garment made retains its appeal over time.
