The fine water-repellent fabric - Storm is a hydrophobic polyester, featuring a printed design that evokes Christmas gastronomy, with elements such as candy canes, gingerbread cookies, and gummy candies, all combined with a natural aesthetic that includes Christmas trees and holly. This design showcases vibrant and festive colors like Sage Green, Dark Red, and Seaweed, which bring joy and warmth to any environment. It is recommended to combine it with solid colors such as white, black, or gray, which highlight the decorative elements without overshadowing the vibrant print. It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing, and is not a double-sided printed fabric.
In terms of general characteristics, the fabric stands out for its light weight of 70 gr/m², making it ideal for a wide variety of applications, from fashion to home decor. Its hydrophobic finish gives it impermeability, making it a versatile option for jackets, raincoats, and outdoor decoration. The texture is perceived as thin and smooth to the touch, which favors comfort in its use for clothing and decorative elements. The printed design, due to its thematic versatility, adapts to festive and casual settings, and can be used in projects ranging from making winter clothing to home textiles.
The applications and uses of the fabric are very varied; it can be found in fashion for both women and men, in the making of lightweight and comfortable jackets and raincoats, ideal for winter weather. In the field of home textiles, its use in shower curtains, cushions, and oilcloths allows spaces to remain fresh and cheerful, especially in a Christmas context. Likewise, its use in sports items, including raincoats and jackets for children and adults, highlights the versatility of this fabric in different outdoor activities.
Regarding care, it is essential to follow certain guidelines to maintain the integrity of the fabric. The fabric should not be bleached and should be washed at a maximum of 40ºC. It is important to avoid dry cleaning, tumble drying, and ironing at high temperatures; it is recommended to iron at a cool temperature to avoid damaging the fabric or the colors of the print.
Finally, the printing technology used for the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation, a process that allows dyes to integrate into the polyester fibers, providing a durable and vibrant color finish. This method not only guarantees the visual quality of the design but also ensures that the hydrophobic attributes of the fabric are not compromised, maintaining its functionality and aesthetics over time.
