The Lycra Polyester fabric - Nairobi of 270 gr/m2 merges elasticity and resistance with a printed design featuring anatomical and festive motifs such as Santa Claus, in predominant colors of dark carnation pink, cotton white, and pepper red. This fabric has a wide range of solid tones with which it can be combined, such as black, navy blue, or light gray, creating versatile and attractive ensembles. The design is printed on one side only, using digital textile printing, allowing for vibrant definition and color that enhances the details of the motifs.
The general characteristics of this fabric highlight its elastic texture and its chlorine-resistant finish, in addition to offering high UV protection with a protection factor of 50+, making it an ideal option for outdoor activities, especially in aquatic environments. Its composition of 82% polyester and 18% elastane not only provides durability but also ensures a perfect adaptation to the body, which is essential for tight-fitting garments such as swimwear or sportswear.
Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, its versatility allows for the creation of functional and aesthetically attractive garments for lingerie, sportswear, and swimwear for men, women, and children. Its elasticity and chlorine resistance properties make it especially suitable for swimsuits, bikinis, and leotards, as it withstands recurrent use in pools and ensures a long lifespan. Furthermore, its festive design makes it an excellent choice for special occasions.
The care of this fabric is essential to maintain its quality and durability. It is recommended to avoid bleaching and wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. Although it allows for dry cleaning, the use of trichloroethylene should be avoided. The fabric should be ironed at a cool temperature, and tumble drying is not recommended, as heat can affect its elasticity.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, a process that allows the ink to merge and penetrate the polyester fibers, creating a vibrant and durable design that will withstand the test of time and washes. This technique ensures that the print does not crack or wear easily, providing a unique and high-quality experience for both the consumer and the designer. That is the essence of Lycra Polyester fabric - Nairobi, a fabric that combines functionality, aesthetics, and resistance, ideal for a variety of applications in the textile world.
