The fine water-repellent fabric - Storm is a 100% polyester water-repellent fabric, with a printed design that combines floral and vintage styles, highlighting a multicolor palette that evokes freshness and life. This design features natural elements and flourishes that, through their vibrant aesthetic, add a touch of elegance and dynamism to any garment. For a striking contrast, it can be combined with solid colors such as white, black, navy blue, or gray, which accentuate the brightness and richness of the print. It is crucial to note that this fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side only, ensuring exceptional image quality and detail, unlike fabrics that are printed on both sides.
Regarding general characteristics, the Storm fabric has a weight of 70 gr/m2 and a width of 145 cm, which gives it lightness and versatility ideal for various applications. Its water-repellent finish makes it an excellent choice for garments that need to withstand the elements, while its smooth, thin texture provides a soft and comfortable feel. The printed design, which adheres to sublimation technology standards, communicates a vibrant and contemporary aesthetic, making each piece unique and visually appealing.
This leads us to the applications and uses of this fabric. Thanks to its impermeability and style, it is perfect for fashion, both mens and womens, in garments such as jackets, raincoats, and down jackets. It is also suitable for home textile uses, being ideal for shower curtains and cushions, where its water-repellent function becomes a key advantage. In the sports field, it is functional for making jackets and raincoats for men, women, and children, thus guaranteeing comfort and protection. Additionally, its application in outdoor decoration makes it a desirable option for patios and outdoor areas, creating cozy and fashionable spaces.
Regarding fabric care, it is essential to follow certain recommendations to maintain its quality. Bleaching should be avoided, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, and the garment is not suitable for dry cleaning. In addition, ironing should be done at a low temperature, and tumble drying should be prohibited, which will ensure that the fabric maintains its integrity and appearance over time.
Finally, the printing technology used to create this fabric is sublimation, a process in which inks turn into gas and integrate into the polyester fibers, ensuring that the design not only remains on the surface but becomes part of the fabric. This technique not only provides more vivid and durable colors but also ensures that designs remain intact even after multiple washes. Sublimation is, therefore, an ideal method for achieving high-quality prints on water-repellent fabrics, such as Storm.
