The Riga Stretch Knit Crepe fabric stands out with a modern and eye-catching design featuring circles and polka dots in a color combination that includes Midnight Black, Violet Pink, and a subtle touch of Aubergine Purple. This fluidity in patterns, along with the softness of the tones, suggests a versatile style that suits various occasions. It can be perfectly combined with solid colors like white, gray, or nude, allowing for the creation of elegant and contemporary looks. Its important to note that the fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing, which provides sharp and vibrant image quality.
In terms of general characteristics, the Riga Stretch Knit Crepe fabric features a softness and elasticity that make it perfect for various occasions, in addition to its slightly granular texture that provides a sophisticated look. With a composition of 94% polyester and 6% elastane, it offers a fluid drape and comfort when worn, ideal for garments that require movement. Its weight of 180 gr/m² gives it remarkable resistance while remaining lightweight, making it a timeless option for any wardrobe. The printed design is not only visually appealing but also tactilely pleasant, offering a complete sensory experience to the user.
The applications of this fabric are multiple; it is perfect for womens and mens fashion, including dresses, jumpsuits, t-shirts and tops, as well as skirts, pants, and cardigans. Its adaptability allows textile works such as table runners and lamp shades to also benefit from its contemporary aesthetic. Thanks to its versatility, this fabric becomes a favorable option for designers looking to innovate in fashion and decoration, taking advantage of its elasticity and resistance to create garments and objects that are not only beautiful but also functional.
Regarding the necessary care to prolong the life of the fabric, it is recommended to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and avoid bleach. It can be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene, and ironing should be done at a cool temperature to avoid damage to the surface. In addition, it can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature, which facilitates its maintenance and preservation over time.
Finally, the printing technology used for this fabric is sublimation, a method that allows the design to be transferred onto it using heat. This process is ideal for polyester fabrics, as the color is directly incorporated into the fibers, achieving a durable and wash-resistant finish. Sublimation ensures that colors remain vibrant and sharp, without cracking or fading over time, resulting in garments and decorations that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also practical and functional.
