The Polyester Lycra fabric - Nairobi, weighing 270 gr/m², is merged with a printed design featuring circles and polka dots in shades of midnight black, pink, and brown, creating a modern and vibrant aesthetic.
This fabric is characterized by its elasticity and soft touch, offering an unparalleled sense of comfort. The choice of circles and polka dots as design elements not only provides visual dynamism but also symbolizes the fluidity and versatility of contemporary fashion. The color combination, with a predominance of midnight black (88.71%), enhances the depth of the print, while the subtle appearance of violet pink (10.83%) adds a touch of freshness and femininity. Aubergine purple is integrated almost imperceptibly (0.16%), contributing to a design that, though bold, maintains its elegance. This print can be harmoniously combined with solid colors such as white, light gray, or fuchsia, generating a wide range of options for creating outfits. It is worth noting that the fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing, which allows for image quality that translates into vibrant and defined colors.
In terms of general characteristics, the Polyester Lycra - Nairobi combines optimal properties, being chlorine-resistant and having a finish that provides very high UV protection, UPF 50+. These features make it ideal for outdoor activities and water sports, where protection against the suns rays is essential. Its weight of 270 gr/m², along with its composition (82% polyester and 18% elastane), guarantees durability and at the same time the elasticity sought in form-fitting garments. As for its applications, this fabric is perfect for lingerie, swimsuits, bikinis, leotards, and leggings. The elasticity and resistance of the material allow for a snug fit that enhances the figure, ideal for sportswear and the creation of garments that require freedom of movement, such as dance or yoga. Additionally, it is also suitable for creating casual and beachwear, making it a timeless and versatile option in womens, mens, and childrens wardrobes.
The care of this fabric is essential to maintain its quality and durability. It is recommended not to bleach and to wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. Although dry cleaning is allowed, the use of trichloroethylene should be avoided, and it is important to iron at a cool temperature to avoid damaging the fabric. Additionally, the fabric should not be tumble dried, which preserves its elasticity and shape.
The printing technology used for this fabric is sublimation on polyester, a technique that allows inks to be transferred to the fabric at high temperatures, thus achieving vivid colors and excellent adherence of the image to the material. This technology is especially advantageous for synthetic fabrics like Lycra, as it ensures that the print resists wear and sun exposure, maintaining its brightness and preventing it from fading with use.
