The fine water-repellent fabric - Storm is a waterproof polyester fabric featuring a printed design in midnight black tones, accented with polka dots in a delicate corn yellow and bakers brown. This playful and modern design makes it a versatile choice for various applications, harmonizing with other solid colors like white, gray, or beige, allowing for elegant and contemporary combinations that enhance the fabrics aesthetic qualities. It should be noted that the fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side using the digital textile printing technique, which gives it a crisp and vibrant finish on the front, while the back remains without design.
In terms of general characteristics, the fabric stands out for its impermeability and water-repellent nature, making it ideal for humid or rainy climates. Its light weight of 70 gr/m² and its smooth, thin texture offer versatility and comfort, in addition to facilitating the confection of a wide range of garments. As for the printed design, the combination of black, yellow, and brown colors not only provides an attractive visual aspect but also reflects a modernity with a retro touch that is ideal for both fashion and home.
The applications and uses of this type of fabric are broad and varied. The Storm fabric is ideal for creating jackets, raincoats, and down jackets for men, women, and children. Its water resistance makes it a perfect choice for sportswear that requires protection against the elements, as well as for home textiles such as shower curtains, cushions, and bed protectors. Likewise, its use extends to outdoor decoration, making this fabric an excellent option for patios and other outdoor areas that desire a touch of style without sacrificing functionality.
Regarding care, it is important to follow certain instructions to maintain the quality of the fabric. Do not bleach, as this can damage the fibers and colors. It is recommended to wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and avoid dry cleaning. For ironing, it is advised to do so at a cold temperature and not to use a dryer to avoid shrinkage or deterioration of the fabric. These cares will help preserve the beauty and functionality of the fabric over time.
The printing technology used in the fabric is sublimation, which allows the transfer of polyester-based inks using heat and pressure. This process ensures that the colors are vibrant and adhere durably to the surface of the fabric, offering an exceptional finish without compromising the softness and feel of the polyester. Sublimation is a technique that not only enhances the design but also maintains the fabrics water-repellent properties, making it an ideal option for garments and textiles that demand performance and aesthetics.
