Raso - Ámsterdam fabric is a polyester satin weave, brilliantly multi-colored and with stripe patterns, which bring a vibrant and contemporary touch to any design. Its smooth and thin texture not only enhances the luminosity of the colors but also allows them to flow gracefully, creating an attractive and elegant visual effect. This fabric, printed only on one side using digital textile printing, offers a high-quality surface that highlights the richness of the design. To complement the print, solid colors like black, white, or pastel shades such as pink or sky blue could harmonize perfectly, providing a balanced and sophisticated contrast.
The general characteristics of Raso - Ámsterdam include its light weight of 120 gr/m², its width of 150 cm, and its soft texture, which together contribute to its versatility. Its glossy finish provides an elegant look, ideal for creations that seek to stand out at formal events or in contemporary fashion. The multi-colored stripe patterns in the printed design add dynamism and movement, making it an ideal choice for garments that want to make a bold style statement.
The applications and uses of this type of fabric are wide and varied. It can be used in the manufacture of fashion garments for men and women, such as shirts, blouses, dresses, skirts, and trousers. It is also suitable for creating kimonos or jumpsuits, which in recent years have gained relevance in the contemporary wardrobe. In the field of lingerie, it is ideal for pajamas, wedding dresses, and other delicate garments. In addition to its use in fashion, Raso - Ámsterdam lends itself to home decor, being perfect for curtains, cushions, table runners, and lampshades, allowing for a comprehensive approach to space design.
To properly care for this fabric, some essential recommendations should be followed: avoid bleaching and cleaning with trichloroethylene, as well as washing at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. Ironing should be done at a warm temperature, and if desired, it can be tumble dried at a low temperature, which helps maintain its soft and shiny appearance.
The printing technology used for this fabric is sublimation, specifically designed for polyester. This process involves the transfer of inks through heat, causing the ink particles to merge with the fabric fibers; this not only ensures a high-quality and durable print but also allows for greater resistance to wear and washing. Sublimation is especially effective on polyester fabrics, resulting in vibrant colors and crisp patterns that do not fade over time, ensuring that each creation continues to look as striking as the day it was made.
