The Lycra Polyester fabric - Nairobi is a high-quality elastic fabric composed of 82% polyester and 18% elastane, which gives it a soft and elastic texture. This fabric is ideal for making lingerie, swimwear, sportswear, and tights. The printed design features circles and polka dots in grapefruit and cherry red tones, as well as cotton whites, creating a vibrant and pleasant effect to the eye. This single-sided fabric printed using digital textile printing has a cool feel to the touch and is resistant to chlorine and UV rays, thanks to its very high UV protection of 50+. This fabric can be combined with solid colors such as black, white, or intense red.
Among the most common applications and uses of this fabric are the making of garments such as bodysuits, swimsuits, bikinis, tights, leggings, and leotards. Its care is simple and consists of not bleaching, maximum temperatures of 40ºC, dry cleaning except trichloroethylene, cold ironing, and it cannot be tumble dried.
This fabric is printed using polyester sublimation technology, which allows for high definition of designs and great color durability. This technique consists of printing an image on transfer paper using appropriate sublimation ink, and then adhering it to the fabric using heat and pressure, thus permanently transferring the image to the fabric.
