The Recycled Lycra fabric is a soft and elastic fabric made of 85% polyester and 15% elastane. With a weight of 190 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this sustainable fabric is perfect for use in swimwear such as bikinis and swimsuits, as well as in hair accessories such as hair ties and scrunchies. The printed design on this fabric features circles and polka dots in white, black, and grey, making it a versatile and elegant option for any type of garment. Additionally, it could be combined with solid colors such as blue, green, pink, and yellow to achieve a fun or vibrant look.
The fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing, allowing for the use of different effects and techniques to bring the printed elements to life. The general characteristics of the fabric include a chlorine-resistant finish and very high UV protection 50+, making it perfect for use in swimwear that needs protection from the suns rays. Likewise, its soft and elastic texture provides good adaptability to body shapes and high comfort when worn.
On the other hand, the attributes of the printed design feature a combination of circles and polka dots, allowing for a wide variety of options regarding the shape and distribution of the printed elements. In addition, the color combination in the design—white, black, and grey—makes it easy to combine with different garments and solid colors.
Among the applications and uses for the Recycled Lycra fabric, the following stand out: swimwear, sportswear, general fashion, and hair accessories. In the case of hair accessories, this fabric is ideal due to its elasticity and its ability to stay in place without slipping.
Care instructions for this fabric include following the maximum washing temperature indications, which is 40ºC, not using bleach, and not dry cleaning the garment. For ironing the garment, it is recommended to do so at a cool temperature and not to use a tumble dryer to dry the garment.
Finally, the printing technology used for the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation (polyester). This technique consists of transferring inks using heat and pressure to achieve a permanent and durable print on the surface of the fabric.
