The Athens Cotton Feel Jersey Knit fabric features a printed design with circular shapes and polka dots in black, pink, and purple tones. This design symbolizes elegance and femininity, while its softness, elasticity, and feel make it ideal for fashion garments such as dresses, tops, cardigans, pajamas, and accessories like scarves, shawls, and socks. Additionally, its weight of 239 gr/m2 makes it perfect for living room or bedroom blankets and dining napkins. The fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side only.
The combination of main colors allows for the creation of garments that can be complemented with solid tones as well as similar or contrasting prints. For example, plum pink can be combined with black or dark purple. The general characteristics of the fabric include its softness, elasticity, and feel, while the printed design stands out for its detail and elegance. Its applications and uses extend from lingerie and home wear to childrens fashion, thus broadening the target audience.
Care for the fabric should be taken into account when washing it, avoiding bleaching and a maximum temperature of 30ºC. Furthermore, it can be dry cleaned, ironed at a cool temperature, and tumble drying should not be used.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which consists of transferring ink from special paper through heat and pressure to the fabric. This allows for a very detailed and durable print without affecting the softness and elasticity of the fabric.
