The Elastic Knit Crepe Fabric - Riga features a printed design that combines shapes such as circles and polka dots in a palette of soft and elegant colors. The main shades are cotton white, plum pink, and pearl pink, making it ideal for womens and mens fashion garments such as dresses, jumpsuits, t-shirts, tops, skirts, pants, cardigans, and knitwear. Additionally, it could be combined with solid colors such as charcoal gray, black, or pale pink for a more sophisticated look.
It is worth noting that the fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side, making it perfect for garments with movement and drape thanks to its elastic and granular texture. The base fabric, composed of 94% polyester and 6% elastane, has a weight of 180 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, which makes it very versatile and suitable for use in various applications, from fashion to interior decoration.
Regarding its general characteristics, both the fabric and the printed design stand out for their soft and elastic texture, which allows a comfortable and flexible fit to the bodys silhouette. As for the design, a harmonious and balanced combination of shapes and colors brings freshness and dynamism to the garments.
Among the applications and uses of the fabric are fashion garments for both women and men, from dresses and jumpsuits to t-shirts and knitwear. Thanks to its texture and composition, it could also be used in the manufacture of bedding, cushions, and curtains.
It is important to consider the specific care instructions for the fabric, such as not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, ironing at a cool temperature, dry cleaning except trichloroethylene, and tumble drying at a reduced temperature.
Finally, the printing technology used for the manufacture of the fabric is sublimation, which allows designs to be printed with high resolution and color fidelity on textile surfaces. This process involves the transfer of inks from a solid state to a vapor, thus creating an inseparable chemical bond between the fibers of the fabric and the printing pigments.
