The Gabardine - Prada fabric is a soft and thin polyester and elastane fabric, with a composition of 96% and 4% respectively. Its weight is 220 gr/m2 and it has a width of 150 cm. The printed design features circles and polka dots in plum rose, cotton white, and cadillac pink. This design is perfect for summer fashion garments for both women and men, such as shirts, skirts, blouses, dresses, and accessories like scarves. Additionally, this design can be combined with solid colors such as white, black, blue, beige, grey, and green to achieve an elegant and sophisticated look. The fabric is printed with the patterned design on one side using digital textile printing technique.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, its texture and feel are soft and thin, making it an ideal choice for light summer garments. Furthermore, the printed design features geometric shapes in pastel tones that give it a fresh and youthful air. As for applications and uses, in addition to those mentioned above, it could be used for making trousers, shorts, and light jackets.
Regarding the care instructions for this fabric, it is recommended to wash at maximum temperatures of 30ºC and never bleach. Dry cleaning is allowed except with trichloroethylene, and ironing should be done at low temperature. It is not suitable for tumble dryers.
Finally, the printing technology used in the manufacturing of this fabric is sublimation, which consists of transferring ink to a paper support and then transferring it to the fabric through heat and pressure. This allows for high color quality and definition in the printed design, as well as great durability and resistance to wear.
