The Polyester Lycra Fabric - Nairobi is an elastic fabric with a soft, chlorine-resistant texture, weighing 270 gr/m2 and composed of 82% polyester and 18% elastane. The printed design features circles and polka dots with main colors in butterfly blue, cotton white, and day blue. This design can be combined with plain fabrics in shades of blue, white, and black to create a harmonious set. The fabric is digitally printed on one side only.
The general characteristics of this fabric include its sun protection capacity (UPF 50+), its elasticity, and its durability. The most common applications for this type of fabric are lingerie, swimwear, and sportswear such as leotards, tights, and leggings. The fabric is also an excellent choice for athletic swimsuits and bikinis.
It is important to note the special care required for this fabric to maintain its quality and durability. It is recommended not to use bleach or tumble dry, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, iron at a cool temperature, and use dry cleaning except for trichloroethylene.
The printing technology used in the production of this fabric is sublimation, which is specifically used for printing on polyester fabrics. This printing technique uses special dyes that turn into gas when heated and then permanently adhere to the fabric, creating a vibrant and resistant design that does not fade over time.
