The fabric in question is the Tromso Antibacterial Water-Repellent Fabric, a technical fabric composed of 100% polyester with a weight of 160 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its printed design features circular and polka dot shapes in predominant shades of cotton white and butterfly blue, with subtle touches of gulf blue. This design can be combined with other plain colors such as black, grey, or pale pink, depending on its intended use. It is worth noting that this fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side using digital textile printing, which allows for a crisp and clear reproduction of the design on the fabric surface.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, we can highlight its water-repellent and antibacterial finish, which makes it an ideal fabric for use in accessories and garments that require extra protection against moisture and germs. Its texture is slightly rough to the touch, giving it a more resistant and durable appearance. As for the printed design, we can appreciate the harmony between the circular and polka dot shapes in combination with the main colors, which gives it an elegant and versatile look.
As for the applications and uses of this fabric, we can find a wide variety, such as fashion garments, for both men and women, in the manufacture of trousers, backpacks, and wallets. It is also ideal for use in decoration, in making frames, paintings, outdoor or bedroom cushions, tablecloths, and other home textiles that require a resistant and easy-to-clean fabric.
It is important to note the care instructions for this fabric, such as not bleaching, washing at maximum temperatures of 60ºC, ironing at a warm temperature, and avoiding the use of a tumble dryer. If dry cleaning is required, it should only be done using trichloroethylene.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which consists of transferring the ink of the design through heat and pressure to create a permanent and resistant print. Thanks to this technology, a faithful and detailed reproduction of the design on the fabric surface is achieved.
