The fabric in question is Punto Roma Elastic - Lyon, a knit fabric with a composition of 97% polyester and 3% elastane, with a weight of 282 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. It is printed with a design of circular shapes in white, aqua blue, and light blue, with different sizes of speckles, dots, and polka dots. This design gives the fabric a modern and elegant look, ideal for womens and mens fashion, knitwear, tops, t-shirts, pants, dresses, sweaters, and can also be used in the home as napkins.
The texture of the fabric is soft to the touch, which makes it very comfortable to wear. Its elasticity provides greater freedom of movement and flexibility in garment making. In addition, having a high grammage, it is a fabric that provides greater protection against the cold, making it ideal for creating winter garments.
The design is printed on one side using digital textile printing, which means that the design is on the surface of the fabric and not on the inside. This printing technique allows the color and design to be sharper and more precise, and contributes to the fabric having greater resistance to fading.
The applications and uses of the fabric are varied, as we indicated earlier, but they can also be used for skirts and jackets. Having a polyester composition, it is an easy-care fabric, resists wrinkles well, and can be machine washed. It is important to follow the care instructions which include not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 30°C, not tumble drying, and ironing at a cool temperature to maintain the quality of the fabric.
Regarding the printing technology used, it is sublimation, a technique that converts a solid ink into a gas and then deposits it on the surface of the fabric. The advantage of this technique is that the design fuses with the fabrics fiber, which makes it more durable and resistant to fading and loss of quality.
