Satin - Amsterdam

The fabric we are discussing is Amsterdam satin, a spectacularly shiny and soft-to-the-touch fabric thanks to its entirely polyester composition. Printed on this satin is a design of circular shapes in different sizes, with specks or polka dots, all in shades of blue, with a spectacular shade called butterfly blue predominating. This design conveys a sense of movement and freshness with its circles, dots, and specks.

Digital textile printing allows the color to be fixed directly onto the fiber, so the fabric is printed on one side only. This combination of fabric and design has characteristics that include a visually bright texture and a smooth, thin feel, making the fabric ideal for any type of garment, from shirts and blouses to skirts, dresses, or pants. In addition, this fabric is also suitable for lingerie and pajamas and has a width of 150 cm.

Amsterdam satin is resistant to a wide range of care, ensuring it stays in perfect condition for a long time. For its care, a maximum washing temperature of 40ºC is required, and it allows dry cleaning except with trichloroethylene. It is also advisable to iron at a warm temperature, and drying can be done at a reduced temperature in the dryer. The applications or uses of the fabric are multiple and varied, ranging from general fashion to bridal lingerie and accessories such as scarves, always highlighting the softness and quality of the fabric.

The printing technology used is sublimation on polyester fabrics, which allows the color to be permanently fixed to Amsterdam satin.
