Se trata de un tejido con relieve y al ser impreso presenta fuerza de color en las fibras más externas quedando en su color natural las fibras internas. Puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. |
Tweed - Chanel fabric is a polyester fabric with a weight of 420 gr/m2, a rigid texture, and a soft feel. Its printed design features circles, speckles, polka dots, and spots in shades of white, Cadillac pink, and plum pink. This design can be combined with solid colors such as black, grey, white, pastel pink, and beige. The fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side only.
In terms of its general characteristics, Tweed - Chanel fabric is suitable for making fashion garments and accessories for both women and men, such as jackets, blazers, coats, dresses, skirts, shorts, bow ties, and caps, as well as for home textiles such as cushions. It is timeless, but its use is more widespread in the autumn and winter season of 2021.
The fabric requires certain care to ensure its maintenance, such as not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, not tumble drying, and ironing at a cool temperature. It can be dry cleaned except with trichloroethylene.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which allows for high definition and sharpness in printing, as well as the preservation of color intensity after washing.
