Esta referencia de tela está fabricada a partir de botellas de plástico reciclado PET e hilo de poliéster reciclado, por lo que puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. También presenta unos indices de encogimiento relevantes que pueden oscilar entre un 4-9 % de encogimiento a lo largo del tejido y un 2% al ancho en función de la pieza. |
The Recycled PET Canvas - Dallas is a polyester fabric with a weight of 260 gr/m2 and a width of 160 cm, especially suitable for decoration and fashion applications. Its printed design features circular shapes in shades of white, denim blue, and midnight black. It would perfectly combine with plain fabrics in neutral tones such as light gray or beige.
The texture of this fabric is rough and stiff to the touch, while its appearance is opaque. The fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side only, meaning it is not a double-sided printed fabric.
Among the general characteristics of the fabric, its sustainability stands out, as it is certified as recycled and holds the GRS certification. Regarding its uses, in addition to those mentioned above, it could also be used for making backpacks, hats, aprons, and baskets.
As for the care instructions for this fabric, it is important not to bleach it, wash it at a maximum temperature of 30 degrees, and iron it at a cool temperature. Furthermore, it can be dry cleaned with solvents and can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
The manufacturing of this fabric uses sublimation printing technology, specifically for polyester fabrics, which allows for the permanent fixation of the printed design on the fabric.
