Se trata de un tejido con relieve y al ser impreso presenta fuerza de color en las fibras más externas quedando en su color natural las fibras internas. Puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. |
Tweed - Chanel fabric is a rectangular fabric, 150 cm wide and weighing 420 gr/m2, composed of 100% polyester. Its printed design features circular shapes in various sizes, combining circles, specks, dots, and polka dots in three main colors: cotton white, denim blue, and midnight black. Additionally, this fabric can be combined with other solid colors to give a more dynamic look to the final garment or accessory.
Printed only on one side using digital textile printing, the printed tweed has a stiff but textured feel with a robust drape, ideal for outerwear such as jackets, blazers, trench coats, and even vests and caps. It is a timeless fabric that adapts to any situation, although its ideal season is autumn and winter.
Regarding the care it requires, it is necessary not to bleach this fabric under any circumstances and to wash it at a maximum of 30ºC. In addition, it is important to avoid using a dryer and to iron it at a low temperature. It can be dry cleaned except with trichloroethylene.
For its manufacturing, sublimation technology is used to print the design on the surface of the polyester fabric. Sublimation is a digital printing technique that allows ink pigments to be fixed on a surface, reducing their evaporation process.
