The Elastic Punto Roma fabric – Lyon features a printed design that combines circular shapes in different sizes and styles, such as specks, dots, and polka dots, in cotton white, denim blue, and midnight black colors. This design symbolizes vitality and elegance, offering a perfect balance for multiple styling options. Additionally, the fabric can be combined with solid colors such as red, dark green, gray, and mustard yellow to create a more striking effect, or with softer tones for a more discreet look. It should be noted that this fabric is printed with the patterned design on one side using digital textile printing, which means it is more delicate than a fabric printed on both sides.
On the other hand, its general characteristics stand out for offering a soft texture to the touch, due to its polyester and elastane composition, making it a highly comfortable and flexible fabric for making clothing. Likewise, the fabric adapts perfectly to different applications and uses for womens/mens fashion, such as making tops, t-shirts, pants, dresses, and sweaters, and in home textiles, such as dining napkins. It is important to note that this type of fabric is ideal for the winter season, thanks to its weight of 282 gr/m2.
Regarding fabric care, it should be washed at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, should not be bleached, cannot be tumble dried, and can be dry cleaned except with trichloroethylene. Likewise, it is recommended to iron it at a cold temperature to avoid damage to the print.
Finally, this fabric features sublimation printing technology, which means that the design is applied by means of heat and pressure onto the fabric, producing a chemical reaction that allows the ink to permanently adhere to the polyester fiber. In this way, greater sharpness in the design is achieved, and durability and washing resistance are guaranteed.
