The base fabric is the Antibacterial Water-Repellent Fabric - Tromso, a technical fabric made of 100% polyester with a weight of 160 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. This fabric has a water-repellent finish, making it water-resistant, and an antibacterial finish, making it suitable for high-performance garments.
The printed design on the fabric features circular shapes in predominantly plum pink, cadillac pink, and cotton white tones. These motifs give it a modern and youthful touch, and combined with other solid colors such as black, gray, and white, can result in bold and elegant combinations. The fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing.
The general characteristics of the fabric are summarized by its impermeability, rough texture, and antibacterial finish. These attributes make the fabric ideal for a wide range of applications, such as high-performance clothing manufacturing, accessories, interior and exterior decoration, among others.
Specific applications for the fabric include its use in manufacturing tablecloths, cushions, and sun loungers for outdoors, due to its ability to withstand the elements. Additionally, the antibacterial finish makes it ideal for manufacturing toiletry bags and wallets.
Regarding care, it is recommended to avoid bleaching the fabric, use maximum temperatures of 60ºC, do not tumble dry, and iron at lukewarm temperatures. Dry cleaning is acceptable, except with trichloroethylene.
The printing technology used for manufacturing this fabric is sublimation, which allows for precise and high-quality printing through a process of ink transfer from sublimation paper to the fabric via heat and pressure. This process allows the ink to penetrate the polyester fiber, producing a durable and wear-resistant image.
