The fabric in question is Organic Viella - Moscow, a Viyella type fabric made of 100% organic cotton with a weight of 140 gr/m2 and a width of 160 cm. Its printed design features circles and polka dots that create a playful and cheerful pattern, using a multi-color combination that attracts attention and curiosity at the same time. This design can be combined with both dark and light plain colors. It is important to note that this fabric is printed only on one side using digital textile printing.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, its softness and smooth texture to the touch can be highlighted. The integration of digital textile printing technology can also be highlighted, which allows designs to have more detail and precision in their final finish. In terms of applications and uses, its potential use in womens and mens fashion for the creation of dresses and shirts, as well as in home textiles, particularly for tablecloths and napkins, stands out.
In terms of care, it is important not to bleach the fabric and wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, allowing dry cleaning with the exception of trichloroethylene. Warm ironing is suggested and tumble drying should be avoided. It is important to always check the specific product instructions to maintain its quality and durability.
Finally, reactive direct digital printing technology (natural fibers) has been used for the manufacture of this printed fabric. This process directly prints the colors onto the fibers of the fabric, which allows for greater color fidelity and definition of the design. In addition, this technology is more sustainable and does not pollute the environment, being one of the aspects considered in the GOTS - ORGANIC CU1016503 fabric certification.
