Raso - Ámsterdam fabric is a satin composed of 100% polyester with a weight of 120 gr/m2. Its width is 150 cm and it can be used in a wide variety of garments such as shirts, blouses, skirts, pajamas, tops, and pants. In addition, its use is not limited to fashion, as it is also suitable for making accessories such as scarves and kimonos.
The printed design that can be applied to this fabric consists of circles or polka dots in shades of Cadillac pink, shy pink, and light pink. These pastel tones bring a touch of sweetness and freshness to the design, which combines very well with other plain colors such as white, black, or grey. The printed design is applied to one side using digital textile printing.
The visual appearance of the fabric is shiny, which, along with its smooth texture, gives it an elegant and sophisticated touch. The general characteristics of the fabric also include its thin and soft feel, making it extremely comfortable to wear.
Regarding the applications and uses of the fabric, thanks to its polyester composition, it is perfect for light and fresh garments that require good drape. Furthermore, its natural sheen makes it an optimal fabric for party dresses and bridal lingerie.
To care for Raso - Ámsterdam fabric, it is important not to bleach it and to wash it at temperatures not exceeding 40ºC. It can be dry cleaned except with trichloroethylene and ironing at a warm temperature is recommended. In addition, it is suitable for tumble drying at low temperature.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which allows colors to be uniformly fixed to ensure the durability of the print and not affect the properties of the fabric.
