The Glasgow fabric stands out for its composition of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, which gives it a soft touch. In addition, its weight of 380 gr/m2 and width of 150 cm make it a resistant and high-quality fabric. As for the printed design, it is characterized by its multicolored circles, dots, and polka dots, which give it a striking and sophisticated style. This design could combine perfectly with solid colors in neutral tones such as black, gray, or beige. It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side by digital textile printing.
Regarding its general characteristics, the Glasgow fabric is a versatile fabric that adapts to different uses and applications. In addition to those mentioned, it can also be used to make upholstery and home accessories such as coasters. On the other hand, being a winter and autumn/winter fabric, it is ideal for making coats, jackets, and blazers.
In relation to the care that should be taken for this fabric, it is important not to bleach it, wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, not allow dry cleaning, iron it at a warm temperature, and avoid using the dryer.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation on polyester, which allows for a precise design and lasting quality. In summary, the Glasgow fabric is a high-end fabric with a multicolored printed design and soft texture, which adapts to different uses and applications, as long as the necessary care for its maintenance is followed.
