The Tromso Water-Repellent Antibacterial Fabric is a technical textile made of 100% polyester, with a weight of 160 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its water-repellent and antibacterial finish makes it ideal for use in multiple applications such as fashion, accessories, frame decoration, paintings, outdoor loungers, and for making trousers, purses, toiletry bags, tablecloths, cushions, and backpacks. The printed design of the fabric features multicolored circles, polka dots, and spots. This design combines excellently with plain fabrics in light shades such as white, beige, and gray.
The fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side only, resulting in a flawless finish. Among its characteristics, its rough texture and waterproof finish, thanks to the water-repellent treatment, as well as its antibacterial finish, make it perfect for use in medical applications and humid areas.
Regarding the fabrics applications and uses, its versatility is noteworthy. For example, it can be used as a decorative material for making cushions for the living room, bedroom, and kitchen, as well as for making tablecloths and fashion accessories like bags and purses. It is also suitable for making sportswear due to its waterproof finish.
For proper care, it is recommended to wash at a maximum temperature of 60ºC, do not bleach, and iron at a warm temperature. Dry cleaning is allowed except with trichloroethylene, and it cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is polyester sublimation, a printing technique used to print high-quality and more durable images on synthetic fabrics. This technique ensures a perfect finish of the printed design, with intense colors and great sharpness of shapes and details.
