The Athens Cotton Feel Jersey Knit Fabric features a printed design of circular shapes and polka dots in denim blue, medium blue, and iceberg blue tones. This design symbolizes the freshness and dynamism of the winter and autumn/winter 2021 season. Additionally, the fabric is soft and elastic, making it ideal for creating fashion garments such as jerseys, tops, dresses, cardigans, and accessories like scarves and shawls. It can also be used for lingerie, pajamas, and home textiles like blankets and napkins. It would pair well with solid tones of blue, gray, and white. The fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side.
In terms of general characteristics, the fabric is a knit, and its composition is 81% POLYESTER, 15% ACRYLIC, 4% ELASTANE, with a weight of 239 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. It is a soft-touch and elastic fabric, allowing for great flexibility in garment manufacturing. On the other hand, the printed design is sharp and vibrant, thanks to the sublimation technology used in its production.
Regarding applications and uses, apart from those mentioned above, this fabric is also ideal for childrens clothing, such as baby blankets and knitwear. As for care, it is important to follow the instructions: do not bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, do not use trichloroethylene for dry cleaning, iron at a cool temperature, and avoid using a dryer.
Finally, this fabric is manufactured using polyester sublimation printing technology. This technology involves printing the design on a transfer paper sheet, which is then placed on the fabric and subjected to high pressure and heat. This allows the design to permeate the fabric and not fade over time or with washes.
