The Lycra Polyester fabric - Nairobi is an elastic and very resistant fabric, with a composition of 82% polyester and 18% elastane and a weight of 270 gr/m2. Its width of 150 cm makes it ideal for close-fitting garments such as lingerie, swimsuits, tights or leggings. This fabric has a single-sided printed design with circular or polka-dot shapes, predominantly in colors such as angel blue, dragon purple, and iceberg blue. The design can be complemented with solid colors such as white, black, or pale pink.
The general characteristics of the fabric include a soft and elastic texture, and a chlorine-resistant finish with very high UV protection 50+. The design, on the other hand, features medium-sized circular shapes in two varieties, with polka dots or spots that stand out thanks to the range of intense colors. This fabric is perfect for sports or swimwear thanks to its ability to conform to the body without losing its original shape.
The Lycra Nairobi fabric is printed with digital textile sublimation technology, on one side and without penetrating the fabric surface, so that the durability of the print is prolonged.
The applications and uses of this fabric are extensive, as it is ideal for any type of garment that needs a perfect fit to the body, such as womens, childrens or mens swimsuits, bikinis, leotards, tights or leggings, and lingerie in general.
For its care, it is important not to bleach and to maintain the maximum temperature at 40ºC. The fabric can be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene, and it is necessary to iron at a cool temperature. It cannot be tumble dried.
